Terms & Refunds

Last updated: 5 July 2026

The short version: £37 buys you TradesBoss outright, with free updates. Use it for your business on your own computers. If it's not for you, email us within 30 days and you get every penny back.

What you're buying

TradesBoss is a desktop job-management app for tradespeople, delivered as a single file that opens in your web browser. It is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no renewal, no extra tiers. Updates are included free.

Be aware before you buy: TradesBoss is designed for laptop and desktop computers. It is not made for phones, and we don't pretend otherwise. It stores everything locally on your machine and works offline.

Your licence

One purchase covers you and your business. You can:

What you can't do: share, resell, give away or publish the app file itself. It's your copy, not a copy for the group chat. Fair's fair — it's £37.

Payment

Checkout is handled by Whop, an independent payment provider, under its own terms of service. We never see your card details. Prices are shown in pounds sterling at checkout.

30-day money-back guarantee

Try TradesBoss on your real jobs. If it's not for you — any reason at all — email support@tradesboss.co.uk within 30 days of purchase from the email address you bought with, and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no arguing.

This guarantee is on top of your legal rights as a UK consumer, not instead of them.

Your data is yours — and your responsibility

TradesBoss stores your business data on your own computer and nowhere else. That's the point of it — but it also means we can't recover your data for you. Use the built-in backup export regularly and keep a copy somewhere safe. If your computer dies and you have no backup, we can't get your jobs back — nobody can.

What we promise (and what we can't)

We work hard to make TradesBoss reliable, and free updates include fixes. But like practically all software, it is provided "as is" — we can't guarantee it will be free of every bug or fit every situation. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a UK consumer, or any liability we can't legally exclude.

TradesBoss is a record-keeping tool. It doesn't give tax, accounting or legal advice — check important figures (like VAT) with your accountant.

The boring bit

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If we update them, the new version applies from the date shown at the top and won't take away anything you've already paid for.
